I am a Microbiology PhD student at the University Autonoma of Barcelona, and my thesis supervisors are Andrea G. Bravo, Marta Sebastián, Clara Ruiz-Gonzalez (ICM) & Lars-Eric Heimburguer (MIO, Marseille). I am fascinated by environmental microbiology, and my goal as a scientist is to contribute to the understanding & solution of human-derived pollution problems. In my PhD, I will study Methylmercury pollution in the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the microorganisms involved in marine cycling of mercury. When I’m not working on science, I love to play and listen to music. I also like languages, hiking and spending time in nature
