I am a bioinformatician at the log[lab] group (Institute of Marine Sciences, ICM-CSIC). My research focuses on applying multiomics approaches: single-cell genomics, metagenomics, and metatranscriptomics to study microbial communities in marine environments.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), specializing in molecular and cellular biology. I later pursued a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences (UPF & UB), where my thesis focused on the comparative genomics of marine protists at ICM-CSIC. I obtained my PhD in Marine Science from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), further exploring the complex interplay of microbial communities in marine ecosystems.
